End Of Level Boss

Prologue
[Exile On Mainstream]

"End Of Level Boss" has an off beat timing that fits so well it forces you to listen. Reminiscent of early Soundgarden with a teasing hint of Zeppelin...yeah, I know...I said Zeppelin, but I'm not giving these guys that much credit! Some may call this Stoner/Doom Metal, but I call it mediocre, although it may sound good among certain circles. It's not really bad ass music, but it's still somewhat worthy of listening to if nothing else is handy. "End Of Level Boss", a band from the UK, debuts with their first CD: "Prologue" in September, and they are one of those bands that just may find a certain niche that needs to be filled in today's Metal scene. This is their first CD, so maybe with time and a little polish their second offering well be more true to what they are shooting for.

"End Of Level Boss" are: H. Armstrong who belts out over emotional vocals and grinding guitar, Elena Jane on the Bass, James Ogawa also on Guitar, and on the drums Gareth Millsted slamming offbeat beats in good time.

In my opinion there is really nothing special about their sound...been there...done that...and heard it before...but what do I know? I just work here.
