Through Thick Fog Until Death
[Southern Lord Records]

Urgahal spits out it's new CD "Through Thick Fog Till Death", and it's as harsh and ugly as ever. In 1995 when Urgehal released "Rise Of The Monument" they seemed to have more passion then they do now, maybe it's all their line up changes, but now they just sound like some plain generic Black Metal band...kind of like my nieces band actually. It's raw, the production is bad, the timing is the same, and it's so "brutal" that it's not brutal (if that makes any sense.) Over all it's a pretty sad example of what Black Metal is supposed to be and hopefully their next offering (if they have another) will compared with what they made in the mid to late 90's. Will they Tour? Who cares. Anyway, if you guys are interested "Through Thick Fog Till Death" is out there somewhere, but personally, I don't recommend it.
