Jordon: I'm a 22 year old University
student from Canada studying philosophy. I
got into metal when I was in grade 9 and someone gave me a copy of Sepultura
- Roots and Coal Chamber - Coal Chamber, I was hooked, sadly I took
the long road to good metal taking a long detour through nu-metal, KoRn
and the like, when in grade 11 a friend gave me Slayer's "Reign in Blood"
from there on out I got progressively more into real metal; thrash,
death metal, black metal.
I got deeper and deeper into metal, finding
and listening to whatever I could, then I found the Coven and my tastes
have progressed further to include Folk, Viking, Prog etc. The bands
that have made a lasting impression on me include At The Gates, Death,
Metallica, Iron Maiden, Opeth, Emperor, Cynic, Gordian Knot and Isis.
I am open to anything and definitely welcome to recommendations. Keep
