About Wargoat:  Well there's not really much to say about myself other than that Metal is my life and my passion. Anytime there is a metal band playing a gig near me you can pretty much count on me being there, especially if it is a Black Metal band. I live in Lewisburg, WV so the closest place to me where good metal bands come is in Springfield, VA at the awesome Jaxx club. I'm heavily into other things besides metal, some of which would be Paganism, Norse and Celtic cultures and beliefs, Astronomy, Horror movies, Sci-Fi movies (only shit like Alien, Dune etc), European history etc etc. I am Italian/Polish/Irish/Lithuanian in heritage so my choice of history usually goes more towards Eastern Europe but my favorite is Norse and Celtic. I am 21 years old and I play guitar, drums, bass, a little bit of keyboards and I also do vocals (scream/growl/clean singing.) I am currently involved in two bands, namely Plaguewielder and Frostthrone, former being Black/Thrash and the latter being old school BM.

I first started listening to metal in about 8th grade when a friend of mine let me listen to Ozzy, Metallica and Black Sabbath. I thought it was the greatest music in the world and I sought out all the records by these groups. Later on I discovered stuff like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Megadeth, Anthrax, Slayer, Sodom etc. This shit was even better! In my 10th grade year I discovered the band Cannibal Corpse and at first, I thought it was the dumbest shit in the world but after repeated listens to the songs, they grew on me until I became a huge fan. I got more and more into the Death Metal scene after this, but it wasn't until later that year when I discovered Black Metal. I bought a Cradle of Filth album (yes I know, not BM but anyhow...) and I loved it to death. Later I got into Emperor, Darkthrone, Mayhem, Burzum, Immortal, Marduk, Dark Funeral, Gorgoroth, pretty much the entire Norwegian and Swedish scene. This led to me to the extreme underground of BM with bands like Mutiilation and the rest of the French Black Legions bands, Nokturnal Mortum, Graveland, Seigneur Voland, Destroyer 666, Krieg, Absu, Judas Iscariot, Nokturne, Leviathan, Xasthur etc. Black Metal became my passion and to this day it is my prefered form of Metal but with that said, I love Black Thrash the best. I also love Viking Metal and Folk Metal.

With all that being said, I will admit that my all time favorite band is Guns N' Roses. No band I have ever heard has been able to capture such raw intensity but at the same time emotion and heartfelt writing as the Gunners have. November Rain still stands as my favorite song of all time because, among other things, it is a song EVERYONE in the world can relate to.
